This tool benchmarks your institution across four critical dimensions: admissions pipeline strength, retention and completion rates, financial aid health, and student outcomes. Each metric is scored against national averages for your institution type.

Scoring Methodology

Each metric is scored on a 0-100 scale by comparing your institution's value against national benchmarks for your institution type (public, private non-profit, or for-profit).

Categories & Weights

• Admissions Pipeline (25%) — Acceptance rate, yield rate, and test scores indicate the strength and selectivity of your incoming class.
• Retention & Completion (30%) — First-year retention and 6-year graduation rates are the strongest indicators of institutional health and student success.
• Financial Health (25%) — Net price, discount rate, Pell percentage, and loan rates reveal sustainability and accessibility.
• Student Outcomes (20%) — Post-graduation earnings and student-faculty ratio signal the return on investment and quality of instruction.
